Please help! I am a father of 3 and have been out of work for a month now. We have no savings because many unexpected set backs. I just need some assistance until I find another job. Anything is appreciated.

I need help for my family.  I am a mom of one son, who is 4, and 36 weeks pregnant with #2.  I have been sleeping in the car with my fiance.  I have been able to secure a place for my son to sleep in the meantime.  I am on here because we need a place to live and do not have enough funds for a deposit. 

My fiance and I were both employed by US Bank.  We were laid off January 23, 2009.  Our direct supervisor assured us that we would not be laid off any time soon and that our work and services were valuable.  So to be laid off was a complete surprise.  My fiance applied for unemployment (even though he did not want to) and was rejected.  My fiance is also a US Army Disabled Veteran.  I applied for unemployment and have been sitting around waiting for my first check.  I have asked for government assistance (which was humilitating enough) but have been treated like I am not trying to do anything for my self, like another statistic.  As if I am looking for a hand out, not a hand up.  My caseworker told me on Monday that I need to stop bothering her (I have seen her twice and called once for additional resources) and do something for myself.  I still have been applying for jobs, I still have been going on interviews, I still have been grinding to get things done before I have my C-section the morning of April 1st.

If there is anyone who might be able to point me in the right directions as far as resources or know someone who would be willing to help a family in need, please contact me.

I have been unemployed for a month, my former employer is fighting unemployment, they have not given me my last days pay. Our rent is past due, was given 7day notice for nonpayment, that was up 2 days ago. Our local community chest is out of funds, my husband is 76 and is a heart patient and is not doing well, I have applied for work everywhere, but this is Michigan, I'm sure I will get something soon. We have no place to go, our landlord is not a reasonable man, I had cancer last year and got behind once and have not been late since, our utilities are getting behind, too. We are a family of four, Frank 76, me(Vicki)60, Matt 23, Jesse 19. Jesse just got laid off yesterday and was down to 2 days a week, Matt is down to 2 days a week, also. Our checking account is overdrawn, our license plates are due by the 4th, we had to delay our insurance payment, I sold a family heirloom for food for thiis month, Active Faith also gave us some food. I f we could just get a month and half rent and some utility help maybe we could get on our feet and go forward, We have so many issues right now I do not know where to turn, as I know so many people are in the same boat as us. IIf anyone can help us or point us to someone who can, it would be more than heaven sent right now. Thank You for listening.

I am a proud person, and this is something I very much hate to do, is ask for help.
I will go without before asking for anything, hence why i have lost more weight this last summer.
As some of you know, The children and I have been having a very rough go of it, the last few years,
and this last week has been the week from hell.
My hours at work have been cut, and I found out this month my pention has been cut off.
I have been looking for a second job, but have not had much luck.
We really need some help, as my check this week wont even
cover the cost of gas to go to work, let alone anything else. I very much hate to do is ask

anyone to help us out, you do not know what this would mean to me,
I even went down to try an file for FIA
(federal aid, just to get enough for food, and found out yesterday I was denied).
If there is anything you can do to help us out, you do not know what this would mean to the children and me.
